We are very excited to share some awesome hidden caches at Buckhorn. Many of them have are large enough to hold a treasure exchange while there are plenty of small and sneaky ones to keep you searching. As always, if you take a treasure out, be sure to put a different one in.
Geocaching Basics
Around camp we have hidden treasure of all sizes. To find these treasures you need to have access to a GPS unit. Camp has some you can borrow, and most smartphones can work in a pinch. Some of the caches are large and can act as a sort of treasure exchange - if you see something you like, you can take it out - just be sure to replace it with a different treasure for those yet to come. All caches have a log to sign (but not always a pen) to show your find.
Great for kids and anyone who is ready to go exploring in the woods looking for hidden treasure!
Please always be careful to re-hide the caches in the correct location and in similar style to how you found them. Please also report any damaged or missing caches. Having trouble finding a cache? Ask staff for a hint.
