Summer Camp is Here!

SUMMER CAMP 2024

We aim to create the perfect blend of awesome activities, small group discussions, and campfire worship, while also giving campers freedom and flexibility to explore their surroundings and discover the strengths they didn't know they had.


Camp is a great environment for kids and youth to have a blast, make new friends, grow in their faith, and do dynamic camp activities including rock climbing, paddle boarding, and archery. We strive to keep a balance between small group time (with cabin mates) and all-camp time, giving every camper a chance to meet new friends, where everyone knows each other's name.


Camp Activities Include:

Campers will stay in Dorms or Cabins.

New for 2024, all grades each session! For campers entering 3rd thru 12th grades.

A VOICE FOR THE VALUE OF ATTENDING CHURCH CAMPS

I am elderly and have been a lifelong Methodist. Attending a local Methodist Church provides an enjoyable community that fulfills many of life’s important needs. It has also made my life worthwhile. Attending Church Camps provides experiences and opportunities for spiritual growth. Those experiences, there were many for me, strongly affected my commitment to Christianity and my church every time I devoted that investment in time, fees and effort. Attending Church Camps helped me profoundly deepen my faith; learn more about life as a Christian; meet exceptional Methodist leaders, meet great Methodists; enjoy singing and experiencing spiritual time around a campfire; learn to be self-sufficient and accountable; love and appreciate the splendor of the wilderness and God’s world. FC FUMC is positioned so close to Buckhorn Methodist Camp that we should encourage members of all ages to plan and participate in camps at Buckhorn, many times during every year. Buckhorn is a treasure!

  • Are there flexible payment terms?

    A payment plan option is available when registering, and we only require a 20% camper deposit at check out. We also offer a multi-sibling discount to help offset the increase in registration. If the payment plan through Active does not work with your financial schedule, please reach out so we can find a solution that works. All camper balances are due by arrival.


    If you are interested in donating to our Summer Camp Scholarships fund to help offset the cost of camp, please contact the camp director.

  • What is the camp theme?

    Our summer camp theme this year is Linked by Love!


    We see God’s love in close friends and family. We know that such love links our lives, teaching us about commitment, intimacy, grace, and faith. As we seek to create and strengthen life giving relationships, we remember that such love flows from God, links us all together, and we give thanks.

  • What is the registration deadline?

    Campers must be registered by June 17th.
